Santa Fe Pick Up: A free way to ride downtown and Canyon Rd. Two shuttles run from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. MAP of the route.

Walk the Plaza with a cup of Hot Chocolate or Apple Cider.
These two beverages are available at almost all the drinking hole and coffee shops. If you want the best Hot Chocolate we like Kakawa near Canyon Road.

Not a Skier? There are two lodges on the Santa Fe Ski Basin. You might have your food in a plastic cup but the atmosphere is fantastic. Be sure to take your sunscreen and sunglasses. All the white is blinding.

Sake and Soaking: At the base of Santa Fe’s Mountain there is a Japanese mountain hot spring resort called 10,000 Waves. Get a soak and get a discount at the Japanese gastropub Izanami. Our favorite is their sake sommelier who can teach you about good sake and the authentic way of drinking it.

Art of Course: Canyon Road is friendly to any walking tour with a nice Tea House Restaurant at the end.

Christmas Eve: Canyon Road Farolito Walk
